Happy Ending: Aewayi?

Happy Ending: Aewayi?
Happy Ending isn't quite so happy. Happy Ending is a film saddled with unintended ironies and a misplaced sense of what makes its central characters cool, and relatable to its audience. Saif Ali Khan plays Yudi, a Los Angeles based author, who struck gold with his debut novel and is living off royalties. A commitment phobic man-child, who is too full of himself in an obvious way, Yudi is, for reasons known only to the scriptwriters, irresistible to the women he dates. He is trying to wriggle his way out of his relationship with his psychotic girlfriend Vishakha (Kalki Koechlin) when he meets

another writer Aanchal Reddy (Ileana D’Cruz). Aanchal also happens to be a bestselling author in Los Angeles (what are the odds of that happening?) and Yudi instantly falls for her because her view of modern day relationships is as skewed as his own. Then there is the indomitable Govinda as the aging movie superstar, who has his sights on the multiplex audience and summons Yudi to write a ‘romedy’ that will be a ‘blockbuster all over the world.’ Ranvir Shorey, ever the brilliant sidekick who is known to often overshadow the hero, is unfortunately handed the short end of the stick in this one as the boorish, unimaginatively written best friend of the hero -- a hen-pecked husband whose only aim in life is to live vicariously through his unattached friend’s escapades. To his credit though, Shorey manages to rise above the lazy writing and infuses obvious situations with admirable flair.

Saif u r outsanding in this type of movies, not comparing this one wid cocktail , u will feel bore at some moments of movie !! The same kind of really heart touching speech , like cocktail !! A genuine Saif style praposal !! His expressions, his eyes !! Outstanding , enjoyed it ! Actually love it , jese mera tu sung by arijit is can make you feel "awww" , movie is like one time watch but if u r fan of this zonor than u'll definately collect some scenes to watch out again n again of this movie !!

total time waste

Good movie, one time watch

Why Salman is happy with Hot Arpita Khan Marriage Love Story

Why Salman is happy with Hot Arpita Khan Marriage Love Story

IST News
November, 2014

Salman and Iulia were always together in marriage. There have been rumours linking him to Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah, but washed out, since the fact is, Salman is in love with Iulia. She is very comfortable with his family too. Iulia has been staying in a five-star hotel in Bandra, Mumbai which falls very close to Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartments. And needless to say, it’s Salman Khan who

pays all the bills! Congrats  Iulia...

Salman Khan echoed Jumma Chumma for her sister on her wedding and even invited Katrina and Karan Johar on stage to perform on Chikni Chameli. Salman's friend Aamir Khan performed on his song Aati Kya Khandala at the wedding. Salman called Katrina on stage when the DJ played Chikni Chameli, but shy Kat hid behind Karan Johar. However, Salman was not ready to give up and said, "Ok fine, not Katrina Kaif. Katrina Kapoor come on stage". He also added that he gave her a chance to be Khan, but she choose Kapoor. The entire crowd burst out laughing at this crazy remark.

Salman keeps a soft corner for the ‘exotic’ beauties, Ash, Iulia,  Kat Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah. Earlier Arpita Khan didn’t  approve of this relationship, as she thought that Iulia was using her brother like Kat Kapoor. Embedded image permalink

Our best wishes for Arpita Khan for wonderful journey ahead.

Hey guys, Aayush and I would like to thank you'll for all the blessings and love that you'll have showered on us.

SALMAN- @khanarpita Please don't thank us! It was our pleasure! God bless you both!

Finally only 'Allah' better knows whether Salman Khan’s alleged relationship with Romanian model-actress Iulia Vantur could transform into Marriage or just a repeat earlier story.

Why transitional period migrants are happy with Mark Reckless's UKIP

Why transitional period migrants are happy with Mark Reckless's UKIP

News

Mr. Reckless told the Times the UKIP leader had changed the party's policy. EU migrants already in the UK would be allowed to remain. party had previously guaranteed people from the EU would be able to stay for a two-year "transitional period" while negotiations with the EU took place - the aim of which would be a deal allowing both EU nationals already in the UK and Britons living in the EU to remain where they were. "The only thing that has been clarified is that irrespective of what the EU may do for

Britons living there, people from the EU living here will stay permanently, irrespective of anything the EU may determines about Britons living in the EU." "Until Nigel changed it on Wednesday, the policy of the party was everyone can stay for the transitional period, no doubt about that, that there would then be a permanent arrangement which would be part of the EU negotiation." He said "I've always thought we should allow people to stay permanently regardless, because that's the right thing to do by them and it's also the right thing for our party in terms of how we want to look to the country." Mr. Reckless made the controversial comments during a televised hustings on
Tuesday evening. He added: "Anyone who has legally entered the country has a right to remain. We do not believe in retrospective legislation."

How cardiac arrest killed Mike Nichols Inside Story

How cardiac arrest killed Mike Nichols Inside Story

IST

Mike Nichols was a German-born American film and theatre director, producer, actor and comedian. He, along with the other members of the "Compass Players" including Elaine May,Paul SillsByrne PivenJoyce Hiller Piven and Edward Asner helped start the famed "Second City Improv" company. They used the games taught to them by fellow cast mate, Paul Sills 's mother, Viola Spolin. Nichols's impressive five-decade career won him an Oscar, four Emmys, nine Tonys, a Grammy and AFI and Kennedy Center honors, among several other accolades.

Nichols (one of America’s most celebrated directors) started taking those chances in the 1960s and began to guide such enduring efforts as the films Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Graduate (Best Director Oscar), Carnal Knowledge, Silkwood and Working Girl, as well as Catch-22, Heartburn, Postcards from the Edge and The Birdcage; the Broadway smashes Annie, Spamalot, Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing and Neil Simon's The Odd Couple and Plaza Suite, among others; and the Emmy-laden HBO miniseries Angels in America. His death was announced by James Goldston, the president of ABC News. Mr. Nichols was married to the ABC broadcaster Diane Sawyer. A network spokeswoman said the cause was cardiac arrest, giving no other details. “I’ve always been impressed by the fact that upon entering a room full of people, you find them saying one thing, doing another and wishing they were doing a third,” he said in a 1965 interview with the weekly newspaper The National Observer, now defunct. “I think maybe my subject is the relationships between men and women,” Mr. Nichols said in an interview with The Washington Post in 1986, “centered around a bed.” “Most of the time people thought we were making fun of others, when we were making fun of ourselves,” Mr. Nichols said in 2000. Mr. Nichols was born Mikhail Igor Peschkowsky in Berlin on Nov. 6, 1931. “I never had a friend from the time I came to this country until I got to the University of Chicago,” he told one interviewer. To another, he described the university as “paradise.” He had a knack for popular, intelligent entertainment. People still remind their childhood and adolescence were spent in the 'Graduate' at theater during the sixties and early seventies. Many parts of the movie still bring tears to eyes, particularly the enigmatic ending.

Nichols' name on any film or play was always the most incredible experience. Who can forget "Carnal Knowledge"? The monologue of Jack Nicholson's at the close!! Or "The Graduate," with that insane ending and yet so utterly true.

Thank you Mike Nichols, for your beautiful stories that could touch anyone, anywhere.

Why did Obama accept Modi' Invitation as Chief Guest on Republic Day?

Why did Obama accept Modi' Invitation as Chief Guest on Republic Day?
IST News

"This Republic Day, we hope to have a friend over... invited President Obama to be the 1st US President to grace the occasion as Chief Guest," Modi tweeted in a sudden development.

White House confirmed the visit in a Modi's  return tweet. "At the invitation of Prime Minister Modi, the President would travel to India in January 2015 to participate in the Indian Republic Day celebration in New Delhi as the Chief Guest. This visit will mark the first time a US President will have the honour of attending Republic Day, which commemorates the adoption of India's Constitution. The President will meet with the Prime Minister and Indian officials to strengthen and expand the US-India strategic partnership," the White House press secretary said.

So far Modi has played good diplomatic steps, since he has sworn. This is another success in his way. He knows how to handle the things and how to convert them in a meaningful way. He is a true businessman; a true Gujarati. USA can not ignore Indian market for sustainable growth of it's business. So Obama will never let this opportunity go a waste. Other hand, Modi again wins here, as the Republic day has it's own value, Obama can not force India to accept any bitter ties to ease American business in India. So far, Modi has not given any lolypop to USA.

We have now received confirmation through diplomatic channels of President Obama agreeing to come to India as the first US president for the Republic Day parade as chief guest," foreign ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin said, adding that Obama will be the first US president to come to India a second time during his term in office.

Modi has well played VISA issue with USA, and earned tremendous gain from the issue. After Loksabha elections, Obama had to call Modi to ensure that 'All is well'. This step is going to boom Modi Once again, but what Obama is going to gain from this tour, only Time will tell.

SBI is lending Rs 6,ooo crore to Adani Mining

SBI is lending Rs 6,ooo crore to Adani Mining

The biggest news in Indian Banking sector is here-
State Bank of India, the country's biggest lender, on Thursday said it will do "proper due diligence" before sanctioning the $1-billion (about Rs 6,000 crore) loan to Adani Mining, the Australian subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, for its mine project in QueenslandSBI chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya clarified that at present the bank has only entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the group. However, SBI finding difficulty to recover loan given to Mallya. People are amazed over loan of 65000 crore on 3000 crore turnover! How many lakhs of crore's Public Sector banks have squandered in this fashion! A true example of 'ameer aur ameer hote gaye, garib aur garib'. But such feelings are not good for business market. Business need investment, planing, lending, interest, involvement of mass, export and import.

Achhe din aa gaye!

"It will go through proper due diligence both on the credit side as well as on the viability side. So, all of that will be done," Bhattacharya said. "The board will take a call and then only the loan will be sanctioned." She said that if the board approves the loan, SBI's net exposure would be to the tune of $200 million, as there will be some repayments also from the company. Adani had signed a MoU to line up a loan of up to $1 billion from SBI for the Carmichael mine in Queensland. Adani is getting prize money for helping PM Modi in last general election ? The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. The loan was announced when the group's head Gautam Adani was in Brisbane with a business delegation accompanying Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the G20 summit. The state-run bank had run into severe criticism for entering into the agreement because several foreign lenders had refused to provide lending support to the group, citing environmental concerns. But Bhattacharya defended the bank's stance, saying they have checked with the Queensland government and "they have clearly said that there is no environmental issue and the threat to the Great Barrier Reef is much more from the star fish attack". Bhattacharya also defended the viability of the project. "Today, Abbot pointed coal comes at $42 fob (free-on-board), which is much below the international prices and the quality of coal is very good. It is non-polluting in nature," she said. The Congress party had on Thursday questioned SBI's decision to lend to the project and alleged that that the PM appeared taking keen interest in "promoting" Adani in getting the loan worth Rs 6,200 crore during the visit in which the SBI chairman was also present. "What was the propriety of the SBI giving the loan to Adani, who was sitting next to prime minister during the visit, at a time when some five foreign banks have denied credit to the group for the project?" party General Secretary Ajay Maken said. SBI had signed the pact on the sidelines of Modi's visit to Australia.

People still questions..
How was such a loan given to him?
Why not to me?
I would like to do business in Australia with 10 crore loan,
I have a turnover of 20 lacs annually and ratio isnt much different.
What if I fail,
the government will bail me out the same way it will bail him out?

SBI does not expect the RBI to cut rates on December 2 but feels the central bank could soften its stance by the end of the current fiscal."The fact of the matter is that all the parameters are indicating that there will be further fall in inflation. Between November and January, with the base effect, it might go up a little bit. But by March, it will be well below whatever the glide path that is indicated by the RBI," Bhattacharya said. In fact Australia itself have committed a much bigger money to develop linkage of this mine from the govt funds. Opposition is playing with the issue in general public, but investment is necessity for sustainable growth of market.

Pay Rs 20 for More Than 3 ATM Uses at SBI, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank

Good news for poors, while they are being encouraged to open saving accounts with bank, new rules would definitely make them happy. They will not enjoy enough earning through bank interest rates, but they should be ready to loose their principle money now.

Poor Banking consumers will have to pay more if they are prolific with ATM transactions as State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank and Axis Bank have capped the free usage in six metros at three. Amazingly the capping and additional fees on excess usage come following a recent circular by the Reserve Bank of India allowing banks to limit the number of free ATM transactions to five - three in the largest six cities and two elsewhere - a month. New norms, have been accepted by the RBI, a customer can make three free ATM transactions in the six largest cities at own-bank machines and two elsewhere. The new rates by SBIHDFC Bank and Axis Bank will be applicable to transactions done in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad. SBI, which had reported a loss of nearly Rs 400 crore by way of paying other banks as interbank ATM usage in FY2014, was first to cap free ATM transactions at three and impose fees of Rs 20 per subsequent transaction. Onward November 1, the new norms are effective at India's largest lender, SBI. However, the bank has allowed more free ATM transactions to those who avoid visiting its branches, and unlimited transactions for those maintaining large balances. The second and the third largest private sector players - HDFC Bank and Axis Bank, respectively - have also followed new rules and said effective December 1, they will also be enjoying Rs 20 per transaction above five a month. While HDFC Bank will charge Rs 20 for cash withdrawals and Rs 8.5 (extra taxes) for balance inquiry, mini statements, etc., At third-party ATMs, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank will charge for more than three transactions, down from the earlier five free transactions, the banks cleared in separate customer notifications. Axis Bank, with 12,000 ATMs, however, is offering 10 free transactions for its Prime Plus savings account and Prime salary account holders. But both these account holders need to have a minimum opening balance of INR 1 lakh and they can have first five free transactions at non-home bank ATMs. SBI has been charging for more than own-ATM withdrawals a month at accounts having less than Rs 25,000 in monthly balance. Bank Accounts with over Rs 25,000 and above in balance, however, there is no limit at its own ATM network. But, their access to third-party ATMs is reduced to three a month. Those who exceed the limit will pay Rs 5 per transaction at its ATMs and Rs 20 at machines belonging to others. The bank is charging Rs 8 for each non-financial transactions above the cap. The lender has also raised the number of free usage on its home network from five to nine, if a customer does not visit a branch during concerned month. Those who maintain average balances of over Rs 1 lakh, SBI is providing unlimited access to all ATMs. Those with less than Rs 25,000 balances are charged above five transactions on its ATMs and three at third-party machines. As per latest data from the RBI, at the end of June quarter there were 1,66,894 ATMs in the country and with 44,929 machines, SBI is way ahead of its nearest rival Axis Bank by more than three times or over 27 per cent of the market. SBI has 12.59 crore cardholders and accounts for 31 per cent of the 40.9 crore debit cards in the country and its cardholders are responsible for over 41 per cent of all ATM transactions. Anyway, customers are not happy with the move, while they are being charged for their own money withdrawal.

Banks are known for extracting money from the customer at the slightest opportunity. This is why, Really Banking sector is high growing and rewarding sector. Instead of finding innovative methods and putting extra effort to increase revenue, banks are finding short cuts to extract money from customers. Banks are earning huge profit. It is become habitual to Indian corporate hat initially they give huge offer and free service, low cost to get customer but after that they changing the rateservices and policyRBIand all finance regulators including the government have started working to ensure that the corporate make money at the cost of public expense. Banks are making profits by reducing no. of staffs in branch's due to ATMs. Will banks include failed transactions and out of paper transactions also in free transactions? Most of ATM run dry not only on weekdays / holidays. Its tough time for students & some people, who will withdraw small amount only as & when required, to prevent being pick-pocketed. ATM were introduced with the purpose of reducing the queues at the cash counter and all this was going on smoothly till the RBI recent circular which opened the door for banks tocharge for transaction exceeding 5 per month.
